In commemoration of the Feast of All the Faithful Departed, All Souls' Day, Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.

Father Dominic Savio, HGN, pastor of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish in East Millinocket and St. Benedict Parish in Benedicta, will join with ministers from other Millinocket churches on Thursday, November 2, to bless a headstone in memory of children who died during the Spanish flu pandemic more than a century ago. The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. in the Millinocket cemetery.

The 26th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 27, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Most Holy Trinity Church Hall, 271 Main Street in Saco.

The annual Holy Cross School Christmas Fair and Lobster Lunch will be held December 6 & 7 at the school, located at 436 Broadway in South Portland.

Youths are invited to a trunk or treat, saint-style, on Tuesday, October 31, beginning at 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 333 Main Street, Presque Isle.

A prayer service to pray for the 18 victims of the Lewiston Mass shooting and for the healing of the community will be held at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street in Lewiston at 2 p.m.
