Feast of St. Claire Family Pilgrimage - Bangor to Belfast

In celebration of the Year of St. Francis and the Feast of St. Claire, St. Paul the Apostle Parish is offering a one-day family pilgrimage to St. Francis of Assisi Church in Belfast, one of three official pilgrimage sites in Maine.

A deluxe motorcoach will leave St. Matthew Church in Hampden on 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, arriving at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:30 a.m. for a tour, confessions, and meditation.

Monsignor Andrew Dubois will celebrate Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Following a break for lunch, enjoy a downtown Belfast harbor walk and ice cream/sorbet and a visit to Moose Point State Park.

The pilgrimage departs for Hampden at 4:30 p.m., arriving back at the church at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The cost is $30/individual, $50/couple, $70/family of 3 or 4, $100/family of 5 or more. The cost covers transportation, park fees, refreshments, and a church donation but does not include lunch.
