Year of St. Francis Family Pilgrimage and Field Day - Kennebunk

The Mother Cabrini Education Initiative is sponsoring a Catholic Family Pilgrimage and Field Day in celebration of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis.

The pilgrimage and field day will be held on August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, at the St. Anthony Franciscan Monastery in Kennebunk. (Rain date: August 16)

The day will include Mass and the opportunity for confession, field game stations, a cupcake Rosary, and fellowship with other Catholic families. Bring a picnic lunch, blanket, lawn chairs, and towels for water games.  A freewill offering will be taken up for the friars.

For the jubilee year, a plenary indulgence may be received by making a pilgrimage to a jubilee site, as long as the regular conditions are met.
