The Diocese of Portland in Maine is launching Cabrini Schools, a new classical, liberal arts high school offering rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition. We are seeking two mission-driven educators to join our founding faculty at our Brunswick location and help shape a vibrant academic and faith-filled culture for generations of students.

This is a unique opportunity for educators who are passionate about forming young people in faith, truth, and beauty through a rigorous, integrated classical curriculum and who desire to teach in a close-knit, collaborative community.

The humanities teacher is responsible for history, literature, theology and related disciplines

As a founding teacher, you will play a vital role not only in the classroom, but also in establishing the intellectual habits, spiritual life, and communal culture of Cabrini Schools.

  • Embrace and practice the Catholic faith, with a desire to share it joyfully with students
  • Appreciate classical education and pedagogy, and the formation of the whole person

  • Possess a desire to shape a school culture rooted in excellence, virtue, and beauty
  • Hold a Catholic liberal arts education (preferred); knowledge of Latin is a plus
