DWELL - A Jubilee Retreat for High Schoolers - Lewiston
DWELL, a one-day retreat for high school-aged teens, will be held at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul in Lewiston on Saturday, November 22.
Life is loud, and many teens feel worn down by the pressure to perform, to fit in, to keep up. It’s easy to lose sight of who they are — and even easier to lose hope. Dwell is a pause in the noise.
As part of the Catholic Church’s Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee Year, this one-day retreat invites teens to rediscover what is eternal: the quiet voice of God, their identity as His beloved, and the joy of living as His witnesses.
Held on the Feast of St. Cecilia, patroness of music, the day will echo her hidden holiness and unshaken fidelity. Teens will hear powerful talks, pray in sacred silence, receive the sacraments, and experience the presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Teens will leave not just refreshed but renewed in hope, ready to carry the light of Christ back into the world. It’s a day to withdraw from the noise, to hear the quiet voice of God, to remember who they are, and to discover that God already dwells within them.
This isn’t about one more program. It’s about encounter — a personal meeting with the living Christ, and the courage to follow Him into the world.
