Vespers & Benediction in Honor of Bishop Robert Deeley

The Diocese of Portland will host a celebration of Evening Prayer (Vespers) and Benediction followed by a reception to honor Bishop Robert P. Deeley as he completes 10 years of service as the 12th Bishop of Portland.

Evening Prayer will begin at 5:30 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 122 Ash Street in Lewiston. Evening Prayer will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. A light reception will immediately follow in the lower level of the basilica.

Both Evening Prayer and the reception are open to the public. Tickets are not required for either event. No RSVP is required. Priests and deacons in attendance are not asked to vest for the celebration of Evening Prayer.
