A memorial Mass for Bishop Joseph Gerry, OSB, the Tenth Bishop of Portland, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Bishop Joseph passed away on Sunday, July 2, at the age of 94 at the nursing home in Manchester, NH, at which he had been living. A Mass of Christian Burial is being held at Saint Anselm Abbey in Manchester on July 6.
