Jeremiah 17:5-8 - Curses or blessings: depending on whom you trust. 
Psalm 1:1-6 - Blessed and prosperous the ones who trust in the Lord. 
1 Corinthians 15:12,16-20 - If Christ is not alive, why do we believe?
Luke 6:17,20-26 - Blessings and woes: not just beatitudes.

Luke 9:28-36 - The community is given notice of the resurrection. 
Psalm 27:1,7-9,13-14 - The Lord who is light brings light in our lives.

Third Sunday of Lent - March 23, 2025

Exodus 17:3-7 - In the desert, Israel thirsted for more than water. 
Romans 5:1-2,5-8 - God has loved us to the point of giving the Son’s life. 
John 4:5-42 - The Woman of Samaria thirsted for eternal life.

Fourth Sunday of Lent - March 30, 2025

1 Samuel 16:6-7, 10-13    The Lord chose David to be a king pure of heart. 
Ephesians 5:8-14 - Christ calls us to be holy and to love tenderly. 
John 9:1-41 - The touch of Christ brings light to one living in darkness.

Fifth Sunday of Lent - April 6, 2025

Ezekiel 37:12-14 - God will restore Israel to life and to land.

Acts 5:12-32 - Faith in Jesus heals many in Jerusalem.
Revelation 1:9-13, 17-19 - Christ, the Living One, loves us.
John 20:19-31 - Jesus promises greater blessings to us.

Third Sunday of Easter - May 4, 2025

Acts 5:27, 32,40-41 - The apostles chose to obey God rather than men.
Revelation 5:11-14 - The Lamb is worthy to receive the praise of all.
John 21:1-19 - Jesus cements his love for Peter at a startling breakfast

Fourth Sunday of Easter - May 11, 2025

Acts 13:14, 43-52 - Good news welcomed by those chosen for eternal life.  
Revelation 7:9, 14-17 - Great multitudes will worship God.  
John 10:27-30 - Jesus and the Father work together for the Church.

Fifth Sunday of Easter - May 18, 2025

Acts 14:21-22 - New believers must persevere in faith. 
Revelation 21:1-5 - God will dwell among his people as in a holy place. 
John 13:31-35 - Jesus gives a new commandment: Love as he loved.

Sixth Sunday of Easter - May 25, 2025

Acts 15:1-2,22-29 - Observing the Law of Moses is not required.
Revelation 21:10-14,22-23 - In the New Jerusalem, the Lord is the only light.     
John 14:23-29 - Obedience in Jesus Christ will make him dwell here.

Seventh Sunday of Easter - June 1, 2025

Acts 7:55-60 - Jesus receives Stephen into heaven. 
Revelation 22:12-14,16-17,20 - We urgently long for Jesus to return.     
John 17:20-26 - Jesus prays for us who have come to believe.

Solemnity of Pentecost - June 8, 2025

Acts 2:1-11 - The community is filled with the Holy Spirit. 
1 Corinthians 12:3-7,12-13 - The Spirit creates a new body of Christ 
John 20:19-23 - Jesus comes to those who fear, bringing peace.
Psalm 104:1,24,29-31,34 - God’s Spirit has all power.

Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity - June 15, 2025

Proverbs 8:22-31 - Wisdom was with God at the beginning of creation. 
Romans 5:1-5 - Through the Spirit, God’s love has been given to us.
John 16:12-15 - Jesus promises the Spirit of Truth in those who believe. 

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ - June 22, 2025

Genesis 14:18-20 - Melchizedek, priest, offers bread and wine. 
1 Corinthians 11:23-26 - Jesus offers his body and blood in sacrifice.
Luke 9:11-17 - Jesus satisfies all our hungers.
