Sister Colette Caron, CSJ

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Colette Caron, CSJ, a Sister of St. Joseph of Lyon who died at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville on March 19, the Feast of Saint Joseph.  She was age 73.

Sister Colette was born in Waterville in 1942, was educated at Notre Dame School, St. Francis de Sales School, and Mount Merici Academy in Waterville, earning her BA in Elementary Education from St. Joseph College of Maine in Standish. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon France in 1960 and had an outstanding reputation as a child-care and elementary school teacher. She taught at Holy Family School in Lewiston, St. John the Baptist School in Winslow, St. Joseph Day Care Center in Auburn, and St. Thomas School in Sanford.  She also served at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay.

Please keep in your prayers her natural and religious families as well.  May her soul and the soul of all the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen.
