Sister Cecile Grenier, CSJ

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sr. Cecile Grenier, CSJ, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon who died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 24, 2017.  Sister was 85 years old and a professed member of the Sisters of St. Joseph for almost 63 years.  She was an educator and taught in a number of schools including St. Rose of Lima School in Jay, St. Anthony School in Jackman, Sacred Heart School in Auburn, and Holy Family School in Lewiston.  She also worked in religious education in Sacred Heart Parish in North Sanford, NH; St. Mary of Lourdes Parish in Lincoln, and St. Theresa Parish in Oakland. She then became a missionary in Governador 17 Rosado, Brazil. Sister Cecile was well known as a gardener and artist.

Please keep her religious family and her natural family in prayer as they mourn the death of their loved one.

May her soul and the soul of all the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen
