Sister Sylvia Genesse, p.m.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sr. Sylvia Genese, a member of the Sisters of Presentation of Mary.  Sister Sylvia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Genesse of Auburn, completed her journey on earth on November 24, 2019, at the age of 83.  She served 60 years in religious life, professing her vows on August 15, 1959.

Sister Sylvia served as the executive director of the Advisory Council for Religious from 1974-1977.  Prior to that assignment, she taught in schools in the diocese.  Subsequent to her assignment within the diocese, she went to Rome for theological studies and then served on the general council of her community.

Please pray for the consolation of her community as well as her family and friends.

Wake: Monday, December 2, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.. at Resurrection Chapel at Ste. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Road, Manchester, NH. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.
