An Easter greeting from Bishop Ruggieri

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
As we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death and the new life He brings, please know of my prayers for you and your loved ones.
When the risen Jesus sends Mary Magdalene to tell His disciples that He is truly risen, she goes. Her message is rooted in her experience of the risen Jesus and her love for Him. She proclaims, “I have seen the Lord.” I can only imagine that she delivered this message with uncontainable excitement and awe.
May this Easter Day and season be an opportunity for all of us to share the message of Jesus’ Resurrection with those whom we love. May we do so with the excitement and wonderment of Mary Magdalene.
