March for Life 2026
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland has arranged an overnight bus trip to the largest human rights demonstration in the world. The National March for Life is more than just a protest, it's an opportunity to celebrate the goodness of all human life. By marching, we show that we will not be silent.
Our trip will start early on January 22nd, the day before the march, with the first passenger pickup in Orono, then in Portland, then we will travel together to Washington DC. We will return to Maine after the march on Friday, January 23rd.

3:15 a.m. pick up at Newman Center - UMaine Orono
5:30 a.m. pick up at Diocese Chancery, Portland
Lunch stop on the way*
5:00 p.m.: Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC.
8:00 pm Westin Washington DC Downtown
Friday, January 23rd, 2026
1:00 March for Life
3:00 pm (estimated) Board bus for travel back to Maine.
Cost:
Due to financial support from the Diocese, the cost to attend is:
Students (14+) $100 per person, double occupancy
Adults (non-students 18+) $300 per person, double occupancy
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
