Catholic Homeschooling Conference - Bangor

The Mother Cabrini Maine Catholic Education Initiative’s Homeschool Collaborative will host its first Catholic Homeschooling Retreat and Conference on Saturday, June 27, at Husson College in Bangor.

This conference will bring together Catholic homeschoolers from across the state for a day of worship, inspiration, and fellowship. The theme, “Beauty in our Homeschools: Teaching Our Children to See,” invites participants to explore the role of beauty in creation, in the Catholic faith, and in the homeschool, to form children for mature Christian life in the world and for eternal life in Christ. 

The day will include keynote speaker Dr. Amy Fahey, who is a teaching fellow at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, Mass with Bishop James Ruggieri, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and fellowship with other homeschooling families. 

Lodging is available on campus at $50 per night for Friday and/or Saturday night.
