Third Grade Classroom Teacher

St. James School, Biddeford, Maine is seeking a passionate, faith-filled, student-centered professional to teach Third Grade. The Third Grade Teacher plans, organizes, and implements the instructional program in a Catholic learning environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God. Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records, observe student behavior and progress, and communicate with parents.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic who is passionate about Elementary education and building a faith-filled foundation for our youngest students. Experience with children is preferred and the ability to communicate effectively and work with students, parents and school personnel.

Additional requirements:

• Maine Certification (or eligibility) in Elementary Education (020)
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education or equivalent
