Fairs & Festivals

All are invited to attend the 4th Annual St. Anthony’s Parish Summer Festival at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail, in Windham on June 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The evening will continue after the 4 p.m. Mass with a chicken barbeque sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

St. Christopher's Church will host its annual summer fair on Saturday, July 5 from 10 am to 2 pm at 15 Central Avenue on Peaks Island. Hop the ferry to enjoy raffles, grill, lobster rolls, strawberry shortcake, baked goods, rummage sale, kids' activities and the famous cake walk. 

All Saints Parish will hold a summer fair on Saturday, July 19,  at beautiful Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor.

St. Matthew Parish in Limerick will hold its 40th annual Funshine Fair on July 26 , 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday, July 27, 8 a.m. to noon. In addition, a clothing booth will be open July 21-25, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 100th St. Peter's Italian Bazaar will be held in front of the church on Federal Street in Portland on August 8 and 9, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bishop James Ruggieri will join in the celebration of the 98th St. Peter's Italian Bazaar with a Mass on August 10 at 4 p.m. at St. Peter Church in Portland. 

The annual African Festival, a celebration of the beauty of African culture and community, will be held at the Guild Hall of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, located on 307 Congress Street in Portland, on Saturday, August 23, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival will be preceded by a Mass at the Cathedral at 4 p.m.
