Commencement ceremony for St. Joseph's College of Maine with Bishop Ruggieri. 

The newly formed Catholic Veterans of Maine group will be doing a spring cleanup at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland on Saturday, May 11.

In celebration of the anniversary of the Blessed Mother's first appearance to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917, a Rosary Rally and Mass will be held at St. Anne Church in Gorham on Saturday, May 11.

Step into a quaint Italian village for the Saint John’s Catholic School’s "A Night in Rome" on May 11th at 6pm at the Saint John's Catholic School Community Center benefiting St. John's Catholic School. It will feature live entertainment from Jim Ciampi Events and their popular dueling piano show, "Keys to the City," and auctioneer John Bottero, Executive Director of Owls Head Transportation Museum. Tickets are $75/person. Ticket sales close on May 5th. Online bidding begins on May 6th at 9am and closes on May 10th at 9pm.

Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation (with first holy Communion) for already baptized Catholic teens and adults in central Maine. A light reception follows the liturgy.

Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Parish will host the first annual Our Lady's Mother & Daughters Tea Party on Sunday, May 19, at 1 p.m. in the St. Thomas room of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. 

Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council 10019 and Maine Needs Fatima are presenting an Our Lady of Fatima event at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. 

St. Mary's Youth Ministry will hold a rummage sale on May 19 and 20 to raise money for a misson trip to Delaware. 

The Daughters of Isabella are holding a Spring Craft Fair on May 4 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln.

Bishop James Ruggieri will preside at Saint Dominic Academy's graduation ceremonies.

A Rosary and prayer service for fallen servicemembers and those who they left behind will be held at 7 a.m. in the chapel of St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston on Saturday, May 25. The service is indoors and will be held rain or shine.

Bishop James Ruggieri, who is fluent in Spanish, will celebrate Mass in Spanish on Sunday, May 26, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Portland. Sacred Heart is the spiritual home of the Hispanic community in the greater Portland area.

Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate a Memorial Day Mass in the Armed Forces Section of Calvary Cemetery in South Porltand.

Following the 10 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street in Portland, there will be a eucharistic procession to St. Peter Church on 72 Federal Street and then to St. Louis Church on 279 Danforth Street, before concluding at Sacred Heart Church on 65 Mellen Street at approximately 2:30 p.m.
