In honor of Priesthood Sunday (Sunday, September 27, 2020), the Vocations Office would like to encourage all parishioners to reach out to their parish priests, both active and retired, and thank them for their ministry to the Diocese of Portland and the lay faithful of Maine. Affectionately named "Fathers Day," Priesthood Sunday is not merely a singular event when we thank our priests, it is also a reminder that our priests are part of the daily lives of Catholics and deserve recognition for their ministry in sharing the love and mission of Jesus Christ.
