Chrism Mass Vocations Gathering | Tuesday, April 12, 2022

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception & St. Peter's Parish Hall, Portland - 3pm-7:30pm

The Chrism Mass is the largest gathering of the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of Portland with our Bishop each year.  During the liturgy, the priests of the diocese renew the promises of their ordination and Bishop Deeley blesses and consecrates the holy oils that will be used for the celebration of the sacraments in the coming year.  A section of seating is reserved each year for those discerning a call to the priesthood and religious life so that they can attend this important celebration of the Catholic faith in Maine. Following the Chrism Mass there will be light social dinner at St. Peter's Parish Hall on 72 Federal Street in Portland. Dress code is business casual. This event is for all Catholic men who are striving to live out their faith and to follow God's will in their lives. If you have any questions or are interested in attending, please contact Jennifer Bernier at [email protected] to receive a registration form.

Please register by Monday, April 4, 2022.
