Journey Retreat 2019

Journey is an annual retreat that gathers high school youth from all across Maine who seek to grow and deepen their relationship with Jesus and other Catholics.

The Catholic Youth Leadership Team (CYLT) is organizing the weekend to lead retreat participants toward:

  • Recognizing their identity in Christ and coming to a deeper understanding of who God is theologically and personally. 
  • Deeper connections to Sunday liturgy and within the Catholic Community (praying and making new Catholic friends)

WHO: High school youth currently enrolled in Grades 9-12 along with parish/school adult leaders [at least one adult for up to 7 teens of the same gender]

COST: $105 per person. Financial assistance available.

HOW: Group registrations through the parish only via  Eventbrite no later than 12noon on Monday, November 4

WHAT: The weekend offers the opportunity to reflect on our identity and to come to a deeper understanding of who God is and the role He plays in our lives! The celebration of Mass, personal reflection, small group faith sharing, conversations about vocational discernment, Eucharistic adoration and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation
