Journey Retreat 2018

Journey is an annual retreat that gathers high school youth from all across Maine who seek to grow and deepen their relationship with Jesus and other Catholics.

The Catholic Youth Leadership Team (CYLT) is organizing the weekend to lead retreat participants toward:

  • Spiritual reset in their relationships with Christ (reflecting and setting a personal goal for spiritual growth with a plan for sustaining it after Journey)
  • Deeper connections to Sunday liturgy and within the Catholic Community (praying and making new Catholic friends)

WHO: High school youth currently enrolled in Grades 9-12 along with parish/school adult leaders [at least one adult for up to 7 teens of the same gender]

COST: $105 per person. A limited amount of financial assistance is available (max of $35/applicant)

HOW: Group registrations only through Eventbrite no later than 12noon on Monday, October 29

WHAT: The weekend offers the opportunity to embark on the journey with Jesus to encounter him more intimately, embrace his invitation and call, and to echo the Risen Lord with how we live! The celebration of Mass, personal reflection, small group faith sharing, conversations about vocational discernment, Eucharistic adoration and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation
