Echoing Faith with Maine Accents

The Office of Lifelong Faith Formation staff and RCL Benziger are working together to roll out a dynamic, multi-faceted, formation opportunity for adult Catholics in Maine. Watch in the coming weeks for more details like calendar and registration Info.

In the meantime, here is a thanksgiving-themed easer trailer and basic info you can share:

What: Diocesan-wide opportunity for adult faith formation utilzing the online tools of Echoes of Faith Emmaus Edition (11 learning modules total)

When: First cohorts begin in January 2021 with a new module starting every two months through December 2022.

Who: Any fully-initiated adult Catholic 18 years of age or older who wants to deepen their own relationship with Christ, practice skills for sharing the faith with others, and support the Church's mission of evangelizing and catechesis. Especially suited for those who currently serve as catechists or teachers and leaders of any aspect of parish or Catholic school religious education and faith formation.

How: Starting mid-November, register through local parish for one of two options:

(1) participate in a local or regional small discipleship group with a faciliator and diocesan pre and post sessions working through the material and practicing skills over 2 years OR
(2) work through material at own pace for up to 24 months

Anticipated Cost: $20/person for Option 1 Discipleship Groups ($300 value) OR $50 for Option 2 Individual Pace ($150 value); Reduced costs made possible through contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal, a gant from the Lay Continuing Education and Formation Endowment with the Catholic Foundation of Maine, and the partnership of RCL Benziger.
