Baptism Preparation

A Doorway to Community

The practice of infant baptism reminds us that sacraments involve a wider community. In this workshop, we will explore how preparing couples and individuals for celebrating the Rite of Baptism can invite them into meaningful, ongoing relationships within a local parish.  We will identify strategies for effective baptism preparation by looking at the practical realities of parish life along with the Church’s vision for evangelization and sacramental formation.
