Director of Property Management
Diocese of Portland
The Diocese of Portland has an upcoming opening for the director of property management. This position has oversight responsibility for all properties owned by the diocese and its affiliates, including churches, schools, rectories, cemeteries, senior living facilities, the chancery, and the bishop’s residence. Responsibilities for this position include working collaboratively with the various administrators, interacting with various vendors, reviewing and coordinating all new construction and remodels, and approving all capital improvements. Knowledge of the federal Asbestos Oversight Program; specific experience in complex, multi-unit organizations (preferably nonprofit or religious organization); and experience with related financial reporting and budgeting is highly desirable. Five years of supervisory experience, the ability to travel throughout the state, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience are required. Possessing a knowledge and understanding of Church organization and operational procedures is a plus. Catholic candidates preferred.
