Prayer for Peace and Blessing of the Altar - Prince of Peace Parish, Lewiston

Monday, October 7 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

All are invited to join Bishop James Ruggieri as he celebrates the first Mass at a newly dedicated altar of the Prince of Peace at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul in Lewiston.

The Mass, which will be held on the anniversary of the attack that led to the current conflict in the Holy Land, will be an opportunity for the faithful to come together to ask for the intercession of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, in bringing healing to that region and peace to all war-torn areas of the world. This Mass offers us a moment to unite in faith, offering our prayers for peace at an altar dedicated to the birth of Christ.

Members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, who work to support the Christian presence in the Holy Land, will be present at the Mass.
