Mass of the Oils in Houlton

Celebrated by Bishop Deeley, the Mass of the Holy Oils is for the clergy and parishioners in northern and eastern Maine.

This year, it will be held on the Wednesday of Holy Week at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary of the Visitation Church, located on 110 Military Street in Houlton.

The Mass of the Holy Oils includes the distribution of the blessed and consecrated oils to parishes located in northern and eastern Maine. It also offers the opportunity for the priests who gather to renew their promises as well.
