“Eucharistic Miracles of the World,” a Vatican international exhibition, will visit the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul, located on 122 Ash Street in Lewiston, for the weekend of June 21-23.
All are invited to attend the free exhibition which will be open for viewing in the parish hall of the basilica on Friday, June 21, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, June 23, from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Eucharistic Miracles of the World” is an exhibition of 153 panels that include photographs and historical descriptions of some of the principal Eucharistic miracles that took place through the ages and around the world. Through the exhibition, participants can “virtually” visit the places where the miracles occurred.
The Eucharistic miracles shown in the exhibition have all been officially recognized by the Church and are from Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Island of the Réunion (French Colony), Italy, Martinique, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Venezuela.
The exhibition is presented by the Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association and has appeared at parishes in the United States, Canada, and Italy.
