Tickets for “Advent by Candlelight” Events in Bangor and Fort Kent Nearly Sold Out

BANGOR---The popularity of “Advent by Candlelight” continues to grow each November in Bangor and Fort Kent as the 2019 events in both locations are nearly sold out.  

“Advent by Candlelight” is celebrated at many churches throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Halls are lit up by uniquely decorated candlelit tables to create the perfect setting for a grace-filled evening that brings local women together for an inspiring night of community.

Here are the details and registration information for both gatherings:

Hosted by St. Paul the Apostle Parish, “Advent by Candlelight” will be held in the hall of St. John Church, located on 217 York Street, on Saturday, November 2, at 5:30 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and coffee will be served by hostesses, and Megan Murphy, a dynamic Catholic speaker from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will give the keynote address. Fort Kent
Hosted by St. John Vianney Parish, “Advent by Candlelight” will be held in the Knights of Columbus Hall, located on 372 Frenchville Road, on Wednesday, November 6, at 5:30 p.m. Sister Marie Veritas and Sister Avelina Joseph of the Sisters of Life from New York will speak at the event.
