CORPUS CHRISTI PARISH, WATERVILLE

An opportunity for a self-guided retreat will be offered on Sunday, March 31, at 1 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 26 Monument Street in Winslow.

HOLY SAVIOR PARISH, RUMFORD

Holy Savior Parish in Rumford will hold a three-day Parish Mission on March 31, April 1, and April 2, beginning at 6 p.m. at St. Athanasius & St. John Church, 126 Maine Avenue in Rumford.  The theme of the mission, which will be led by Joe Farris of the Ten Ten Group, is "Church Fully Alive."

OUR LADY OF HOPE PARISH, PORTLAND

Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland will present "The Mercy of God Brings Us Joy" in the hall of St. Pius X Church on 492 Ocean Avenue on Saturday, March 23, at 9 a.m.-noon. The prayer and group discussion will explore the loving forgiveness of God as illustrated in Jesus' parable of the prodigal son.

The parish will also offer "Choosing to Follow Christ," an evening of prayer and conversation led by Fr. Paul Sullivan, SJ, pastor of Our Lady of Hope, on Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. That evening will be held in the St. Pius X parish hall.

PARISH OF THE HOLY EUCHARIST, FALMOUTH

"Knowing, Loving, and Serving in the Beauty of Our Faith" is the theme of a mission retreat that is being offered by the Parish of the Holy Eucharist from March 11-13. The retreat will be led by Father Steven Bell, a missionary priest from the Paulist Fathers.  Morning sessions will begin at 8:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main Street in Yarmouth, and evening sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Martyrs of North America Church, 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth. 

SEBAGO LAKES REGION PARISHES - GORHAM, WESTBROOK, & WINDHAM

The Sebago Lakes Region Parishes will host a one-day, Lenten retreat, “Change Our Hearts – Making Lent More Meaningful," on Saturday, March 23, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail in Windham.  Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude prior to the 4 p.m. Mass, which participants are invited to attend.  Lunch is included.  There is no fee to attend, but freewill donations will be accepted.

ST. MATTHEW PARISH, LIMERICK

 "The Be Attitudes: Ten Paths to Holiness" will be offered at St. Matthew Parish, located on 19 Dora Lane in Limerick, on Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. (five sessions starting on March 7) and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (two sessions starting on March 10). ST. PAUL THE APOSTLE PARISH, BANGOR

St. Paul the Apostle Parish welcomes all to attend a Lenten Retreat from March 10-13 at St. John’s Church on 217 York Street in Bangor. Fr. Augustine Nellary, the vice president of mission integration at St. Joseph Healthcare will lead the four-day retreat entitled “Our Journey of Life.” The retreat begins  on Sunday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m.  The retreat on Monday-Wednesday (March 11-13) will begin with Mass at 6 p.m.  A penance service will be held on Wednesday, March 13. ST. PETER THE FISHERMAN PARISH, MACHIAS

St. Peter the Fisherman Parish will hold a parish mission on each Friday evening of the Lenten season. Each session will begin with the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m., which will be followed by a discussion of the Holy Mass, guided by the book A Devotional Journey Into the Mass—How Mass Can Become A Time of Grace, Nourishment, and Devotion by Christopher Carstens. You do not need to read the book to attend the sessions.
