KENNEBUNK---Christmas Day will offer an opportunity for community members to gather together and share in delicious food and fellowship.
On Tuesday, December 25, the free, annual “Noël Dinner” will be held at St. Martha Church, located on 34 Portland Road in Kennebunk, at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The event has become a tradition for many individuals and families in the area, and the dinner will once again by prepared by dedicated volunteers from Community Harvest, a nonprofit organization that focuses on food, fellowship, and financial assistance for area residents, offering all services free of charge.
In 2017, the “Noël Dinner” served over 130 people.
“This is a wonderful way to spend this wonderful holiday with friends and neighbors. We want everyone to have a special place to spend Christmas,” said Eva Barnfather, the chairperson of Community Harvest’s board of directors.
Everyone is welcome to stop in and enjoy a homemade Christmas meal. Takeout orders can be made in advance by calling (207) 967-1911 and leaving a message with your name and number. Delivery is also available for homebound individuals.
