BRUNSWICK---Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be available for adorers on Easter Sunday, April 12, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the St. John’s Community Center on 43 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.
Participants must park in a spot facing the community center as the exposition will happen through the glass doors of the gymnasium.
Fr. Patrick Agbodi, SMA, will lead the participants in prayer via Facebook Live on the All Saints Parish Facebook page. Adorers can follow along from their cars on a smartphone, iPad, or tablet, and are encouraged to bring along materials like prayer books and rosary beads.
All adorers will remain in their cars at all times. The facility will not be open for restroom use. In addition, there should be no carpooling. Only people who live together should be in the same vehicle.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is a manner of honoring the Holy Eucharist, with proper solemnity, as it is placed in the view of the faithful for the purpose of paying devotions before it. It flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for communion with Christ and the rest of the Church.
