Diocesan-Wide Language of Compassion Presentation

On the 48th anniversary of the historic Roe v. Wade decision, the Project Rachel Team will host a diocesan-wide presentation entitled Language of Compassion. The team, acutely aware that many post-abortive men and women often feel stigmatized, harshly judged and condemned, wishes to educate the public about how to be effective agents of compassion and to speak mercy, empathy, and love into the narrative of those who are post abortive.  This presentation is not a replacement to the Rachel's Vineyard retreats offered in the spring/fall, rather it is a tool for those who wish to minister to post-abortive men and women.

Who: Anyone who wishes to minister to post-abortive men and women.  We ask that if there is anyone under the age of 18 that they watch with a trusted adult as we realize this is a heavy topic and may require some further discussions to fully process.

What: The aim of the presentation is to give the public an understanding of the perspective of the post-abortive and to equip them with the skills necessary to effectively minister to those who are post-abortive. The presentation will allow participants to interact and ask questions as well.

When: January 22, 2021 from 6:30-8pm

Where: From the comfort of your own home using Lifesize technology.

(Please fill out the form to register. Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation email, tips on using Lifesize technology, and a reminder email sent to you on January 21st.)
