The Office of Lifelong Faith Formation is pleased to present “RCIA with Children & Youth: Keeping the Vision” on Saturday, August 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (meet and greet at 8:30 a.m.) at the Chancery in Portland. Videoconferencing will be available at the Holy Rosary Parish Center in Caribou and the St. John’s Church conference room in Bangor. The day will be facilitated by Mary Sellars Malloy, who has over 35 years of experience in diocesan, parish, and Catholic school ministry in the Diocese of Richmond, Virginia; the Diocese of Saginaw, Michigan; and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Ohio. During the workshop, Malloy will remind participants of the vision that guides those who welcome, mentor, and celebrate with children and youth who are on the journey of becoming Catholic. The cost is $25 and includes lunch. To register, visit www.portlanddiocese.org/olff/RCIA_children_youth_reg. The registration deadline is Monday, August 19. The workshop is made possible through a grant from the Catholic Foundation of Maine and funds from the Catholic Appeal.
