“EPIC” for High School Youth at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish

July 22-26, 2019

Join high school youth from across Maine on July 22-26 for Empowering Young People in Christ (EPIC), a weeklong summer youth leadership institute focused on the development of faith skills for living as disciples of Jesus and sharing his good news through personal witness. Hosted by the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation, EPIC is for teens going into their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school. The teens will be accompanied by adult youth ministry leaders from their parishes, and during the week, they will learn and grow together. EPIC includes, prayer, learning, skill-building, sharing, and social time.  Held at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, EPIC runs from 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, through 3 p.m. on Friday, July 26. Families and parish leaders are invited to join participants for a closing Mass, celebrated by Bishop Robert P. Deeley, on Friday at 2 p.m. To learn more about EPIC, view the schedule, or access registration information, visit www.portlanddiocese.org/olff/epic-2019.
