Eucharistic Adoration during the COVID-19 Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, several parishes are offering opportunities for eucharistic adoration, either by placing a monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament in a window and allowing the faithful to pray from their cars or by live-streaming eucharistic holy hours. You will find a list of those opportunities below.

Adoration with Parking Lot Viewing

Falmouth - Eucharistic adoration will be offered in a "drive up" format from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the parking lot of Holy Martyrs Church, located on 266 Foreside Road in Falmouth, each Monday. Drivers must stay in their vehicles at all times. Participants can park in a spot facing the rear of the church as the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will happen through the windows of the kitchen.

Gorham - Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament through a church window is offered Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Anne Church, 299 Main Street in Gorham.

Rockland - Adoration at the window of the rectory at St. Bernard Church on 150 Broadway in Rockland on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Parishioners are asked to stay in their vehicles in the parking lot. Outdoor confession is also offered at this time.

Windham - Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament through a church window is offered Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail in Windham. 

Adoration in churches

Adoration inside churches is limited to 50 people. Participants must also wear mask and socially distance.

Bangor - An hour of eucharistic adoration with benediction will be held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. from St. John Church in Bangor. Adoration will follow the 6 p.m. Mass. You may atend in person (limited to 50 people) or view via livestream at www.stpaulbangor.me/watch-mass-live or www.facebook.com/StPaulBangor.

Bath - First Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Bath.  Limited to 50 people.  Please call the parish office or go to www.allsaintsmaine.com to sign up.

Ellsworth - Thursday and Saturdays at 3 p.m. inside St. Joseph Church.  Limited to 50 people. Pre-registration not required.

Farmington -Eucharistic adoration will be held on Sundays, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the main church. Benediction will begin at 4:45 p.m. before the 5 p.m. Mass

Fort Kent -- A holy hour with Benediction will be held Sunday, July 19, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Confession is also available. Limited to 50. First come, first served

Gray -  Adoration will be offered Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church in Gray, following the 8 a.m. Mass. Limited to 50 people.   

Greenville - Eucharistic adoration, along with evening prayer and devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will be offered Fridays at 4 p.m. by Holy Family Parish in Greenville.  

Houlton - An hour of eucharistic adoration will be held on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton following the 6 p.m. Mass.  The Holy Hour will also be livestreamed and may be viewed here. 

Jackman - Eucharistic adoration is held Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  The rosary is prayed at 8 a.m. during adoration.

Jay - Eucharistic adoration will be held Tuesdays following the 8:30 a.m. Mass until 1 p.m., with Benediction or reposition beginning at 12:45 p.m.

Old Town - Eucharistic adoration is held on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church.

Portland - Eucharistic adoration will be offered from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Sanford - Adoration is offered at Holy Family Church in Sanford every Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. Registration not required but limited to 50 people.

Waterville - Adoration is offered at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 101 Silver Street, in Waterville, daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Adoration Live-Streamed

Bangor - An hour of eucharistic adoration with benediction will be held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. from St. John Church in Bangor. Adoration will follow the 6 p.m. Mass. Houlton - An hour of eucharistic adoration will be live-streamed on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. from St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton following the 6 p.m. Mass.  Visit www.maryagnespaul.org/mass-confession-times to view.
