Family Life Ministry and Programming Coordinator
Diocese of Portland

The Diocese of Portland has an immediate opening for a family life ministry and programming coordinator to work in the diocese’s Office of Lifelong Faith Formation. This two-fold position is responsible for both areas. As the family life ministry coordinator, the individual will provide resources, formation, and services in marriage and family ministries to parishes/clusters. As the programming coordinator, the individual will work in collaboration with other members of the office staff in the planning, oversight, and implementation of programs in all areas of lifelong faith formation. The successful candidate will have earned a bachelor’s degree in a related field; possess three to five years of experience in catechetical, family or related ministry in a parish setting; and be an active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Additionally, this individual should be experienced in planning and organizing programs; have excellent management, budgeting, and communication skills; and be comfortable and proficient with technology. Coordinator of Youth Ministry
All Saints Parish, Brunswick

All Saints Parish in Brunswick seeks a coordinator of youth ministry (20 hours per week, benefits included). Responsibilities include recruiting and training leaders, and supervising all youth ministry activities from junior high through high school at various churches in the parish. The successful candidate will have strong people skills and be a practicing Catholic. Administrative Assistant
Holy Savior Parish, Rumford

Holy Savior Parish in Rumford has an immediate, full-time opening for an administrative assistant (40 hours per week, benefit eligible). The responsibilities include maintaining the parish database and calendar, scheduling, updating the parish’s Facebook page and website, and greeting visitors to the office. This position works closely with the pastor and the business coordinator to ensure that administrative needs of the parish are met. Pastoral Life Coordinator

There is an immediate opening for a part-time pastoral life coordinator (20 hours per week) to serve St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay and St. Joseph Parish in Farmington. The pastoral life coordinator collaborates primarily with the pastor and business manager in the administration of parish life and mission. This person works closely with the faith formation coordinators in the two parishes to sustain/develop comprehensive faith formation initiatives. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, parish-based ministry experience, and be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church. Keyboardist/Choir Director

Organist/Pianist/Choir Director

The individual will direct the parish’s music ministry; be responsible for preparing the music program; play the organ/piano at two weekend Masses; and serve as the primary organist/pianist for funerals, weddings, and holy days. The successful candidate will possess proficiency as an organist/pianist, the ability to train and direct cantors and a choir, a working knowledge and familiarity with Catholic liturgy, and strong people skills. The Center welcomes lay and religious women and men of all faith traditions who value time for reflection in the peaceful presence of a praying community.  Guests are welcomed at daily Mass and Morning and Evening Prayer.  Once a week there is adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Two dining rooms afford the choice of a silent meal or one where conversation is shared. In addition to welcoming retreatants, the Center’s staff designs and hosts programs fostering themes on spiritual growth, healing and support.
