Family Life Ministry and Programming Coordinator
Diocese of Portland

The Diocese of Portland has an immediate opening for a family life ministry and programming coordinator to work in the diocese’s Office of Lifelong Faith Formation. The position provides marriage and family resources, formation, and services to parishes and also collaborates with other members of the office staff in the planning, oversight, and implementation of faith formation programs. The successful candidate will have three to five years of experience in family ministry and be an active Catholic in good standing with the Church. Additionally, this individual should be experienced in planning and organizing programs and possess excellent management, budgeting, and communication skills. Evening and weekend work will be required. Holy Savior School seeks a dynamic Grade 4-5 teacher motivated to deliver an integrated, 21st century, standards-based curriculum that combines traditional educational models with blended learning technology and project-based experiential learning. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and implementing lesson plans that utilize a variety of instructional strategies; differentiating approaches based on the diverse and individual needs of all students; developing and implementing curriculum that integrates blended learning with project-based experiential learning; and participating in collaborative curriculum development and regular staff meetings. Pastoral Life Coordinator
Parishes of Cluster 22

The parishes of Cluster 22 (St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Scarborough; St. Bartholomew Parish, Cape Elizabeth; St. John and Holy Cross Parish, South Portland) seek a pastoral life coordinator. The pastoral life coordinator assists the pastor and parochial vicars in the daily operation of the parishes by coordinating the pastoral, sacramental, liturgical, and catechetical needs of the parishes in accordance with Canon Law and diocesan policies/guidelines. The successful candidate will be a person of faith committed to Gospel values and helping the Church fulfill its mission and purpose. The pastoral life coordinator must be an active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Candidates who have earned a master’s degree or equivalent experience are preferred (CPE units or other credentials will be considered). Lay Hospital Chaplain
Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston

There is an immediate opening for a full-time lay Catholic hospital chaplain at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.  The lay chaplain provides pastoral care to Catholic patients, their families, and staff in cooperation with the pastoral care department. Responsibilities include making daily visits to Catholic patients, keeping records, and working collaboratively with the priest-chaplain, the pastoral care department of the hospital, and local clergy who provide sacraments on an emergency and replacement basis.  The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing, have successfully completed a minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), possess basic computer skills, and preferably have experience in a pastoral setting. Theology Teacher
