Ford “Drive 4 UR School” Event to Raise Money for All Saints Catholic School in Bangor on May 5

BANGOR---Simply jumping behind the wheel of a Ford and taking a quick spin on Saturday, May 5, will help keep the engine of All Saints Catholic School in Bangor running strong.

All Saints will host “Drive 4 UR School” on its St. Mary Campus (768 Ohio Street, Bangor) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For every individual who takes a test drive, Ford will donate $20 to All Saints’ general tuition aid fund. Each person who test drives a vehicle will also earn one entry to win a big screen TV.

“This is a creative and low-pressure fundraising opportunity for the school,” said Joseph Gallant, principal of All Saints. “This is a chance for members of our community to lend a helping hand by putting two hands on the wheel!”

In addition to the test driving, a truck and auto show will be held on the campus during the fundraiser and a craft fair is scheduled for the St. Mary Church hall, located across the parking lot.

To raise additional funds for school activities, the eighth-grade class at All Saints will also conduct a car wash throughout the day.

“There is something for everyone,” said Gallant. “It’ll be a wonderful day!”

All are encouraged to attend the event on May 5. For more information, contact All Saints Catholic School at (207) 942-0955.
