Catholic Schools Week - Holy Cross Catholic School

Holy Cross Catholic School in South Portland celebrates Catholic Schools Week:

Classes are grouped by Prayer Partners. Participation points are earned throughout the week via various activities.  The Prayer Partners with the most points at the end of the week will win a pizza party for their group.

Service Projects

The school will be collecting the following items for the Animal Refuge League all week: newspaper, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, empty cereal boxes, used clean and usable linens (flat sheets, blankets, bath towels).

The school will be collecting the following items for the Preble Street Shelter all week: new or gently used adult socks and new or gently used adult gloves or mittens.

Boxes will be provided for each Prayer Partner groups and the Prayer Partners will decorate each box. Prayer Partners will be making cards for police/fire and rescue. Each student will be given a name and they will make a personalized card thanking these people for helping our community. We will also provide a small bag of cookies for each card.
