EPIC 2017

It's going to be E.P.I.C.!

July 24-28, 2017

Based on 1 Timothy 4:12, this weeklong institute looks to help teenagers continue to develop the skills they need in order to live as disciples of Jesus and to share his Good News with others through personal witness, invitation, and leadership. A strong focus of E.P.I.C. will be helping parish groups of young disciples and their adult youth ministers learn and grow together, so they will be ready to deepen their commitment to full and active participation and leadership in their parishes.

The week is filled with a balance of social time, prayer, learning, sharing, and outdoor activities.

Registration will take place through the parish youth ministry coordinator or designee.

The institute is intended for high school teens going into their sophomore, junior, or senior years, as well as those newly graduated from high school, accompanied by their youth ministers.  It is strongly recommended that parishes send a minimum of three youth and one adult.

Please note that E.P.I.C. is not a retreat but an institute for the strengthening of youth participation in the parish through their leadership and ministry.  We are excited and ready to welcome young people who are ready to further their development in faith for leadership in the faith community.
